What is PET/CT Scan?
It is an advanced imaging technique that combines two medical technologies – Positron Emission Tomography (PET) & Computed Tomography (CT), to provide detailed information about the body’s internal structures and functions. By combining the functional imaging of PET with the anatomical imaging of CT, PET/CT scans provide an accurate, comprehensive view that helps with non-invasive diagnosis and precise staging of disease.
